BI Server 1.6 or 1.7 to Pentaho BI Server 2.0. Specifically, this course teaches the skills for upgrading an existing Pentaho BI Server deployed
on JBoss and migrating its configuration settings and repositories.

This course is designed for those performing upgrades from Pentaho BI Server 1.6 or 1.7 to Pentaho BI Server 2.0. Students should have a fundamental
understanding of web-application installation, Java application servers, and previous versions of the Pentaho BI Suite.

Course Prerequisites
There are no Pentaho Training prerequisites for this course. The course is designed for students with a basic understanding of SQL, relational
database concepts, Java application services, and previous versions of the Pentaho BI Suite.

To complete the exercises, students will need a Microsoft® Windows XP or Vista, Linux or Mac OS X computer with a 1GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, and a DVD drive,
and 750 MB of available hard drive space. We suggest the computer have at least 1.3 GHz CPU, 2 GB of memory, and 1 GB of available hard drive space. A text
editor such as Notepad may be needed for some of the tasks.
