After all, Open Source is mature, innovative, at times has better quality and is at the least equal to proprietary solutions. The alliance brings together best-of-breed vendors that would enable customers to leverage a platform where these vendors are collaborating best with each other. It is a full-fledged alliance with an end-to-end proposition, which includes consultancy, support and maintenance (on-site, remote or outsourced). In the near future, Capgemini also has plans of making unique offerings with individual partners or a combination of them."
