Orlando, FL – November 11,Pentaho Corporation, the open source business intelligence (BI) and data integration, leader, today announced that Pentaho Customer, StoneGate Senior Care, was selected as a Ventana Research 2010 Leadership Award Leader for overall operational leadership. They received this award for improving operational analytics and performance using Pentaho open source BI to drive accountability to front line management and maintain better quality for their residents.
With labor making up about 45 percent of the operational cost at StoneGate Senior Care, it is critical to manage labor carefully and not exceed overtime hours. By combining this data with the right policies on how to act on the data and plan for the future, StoneGate has dramatically cut its overtime costs, maintained better quality of care for its residents, and relieved the ongoing stress of managers by enabling them to remain compliant with strict legal regulations while staying within their staffing budgets.
