Scholarship America Expands Business Intelligence Use with Pentaho
Leading Education Services Organization Extends Reporting and Dashboards to More Users
Orlando, Fla. – June 22, 2010 – Pentaho Corporation, the open source business intelligence (BI) leader, today announced that Scholarship America has deployed Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition to update its operational management system and make standardized and custom reports and dashboards available to its clients.
Scholarship America, one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofit organizations according to Charity Navigator, makes postsecondary education possible for all students through scholarships and educational support. Its Scholarship Management Services (SMS) division is responsible for designing, administering and managing the scholarship programs for more than 1,200 clients nationwide. SMS sought to enhance value for its clients through greater visibility into program status and operations and turned to Pentaho for a modern, flexible reporting solution.
