GroundWork Partners With Pentaho to Enhance IT and Network Monitoring Products with Business Intelligence Integration

Menlo Park, CA, Pentaho Partner Summit – Apr 2, 2009 – GroundWork Open Source Inc., the leader in commercial open source systems and network management software, and Pentaho Corp., the commercial open source alternative for business intelligence, today announced a new partnership through which GroundWork will integrate Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition with GroundWork Monitor Professional and Enterprise.

GroundWork continues to penetrate the enterprise IT monitoring market, with half of its transactions in 2008 coming from customers looking for alternatives to traditional systems management solutions like HP OpenView, IBM Tivoli, and BMC. These large enterprises are accustomed to using sophisticated business intelligence suites as part of their IT management solutions.

Pentaho Reporting will enable pre-built as well as custom operational and historical reporting, while Pentaho Dashboards and Pentaho Analysis will support immediate visual insight into key operational metrics with the ability to interactively explore and analyze the data.
