Pentaho and Two Heads I.T. Deliver Balanced Scorecard Application Powered by World’s Most Popular Open Source BI Suite

Orlando, FL – Nov. 2, 2006 - Pentaho Corp., creator of the world’s most popular open source business intelligence (BI) suite, announced today that Italian commercial finance firm Unionfidi S.C. has deployed Pentaho’s Open BI Suite to deliver a balanced scorecard, reporting, and analysis application that provides vital information and decision support to multiple departments. Two Heads I.T., a Pentaho Certified Partner, led the implementation and drove the project from initial requirements to deployment in only eight weeks.

Unionfidi S.C. is one of Italy’s premier financial institutions, facilitating credit access to small- and medium-sized businesses. Pentaho technology drives the reporting, analysis, dashboards, and underlying services for report scheduling, customization, and JBoss Portal integration. In addition, Pentaho Data Integration is used to integrate information from disparate Unionfidi S.C. databases as well as the firm’s ERP system. Prior to this Pentaho deployment, it was difficult for business users to get an integrated, reliable view of information distributed across multiple databases and applications.
