The DivX Business Intelligence and Analysis System will support users in the sales, marketing, and finance departments. Pentaho Professional Edition is deployed on a MySQL database running on Debian Linux. It integrates consumer purchasing activity from DivX partners like FireClick, Asknet and others. DivX initially prototyped with Pentaho Open BI Suite, the world’s most popular open source BI suite, available at /download. This allowed DivX to validate Pentaho’s capabilities and ensure that Pentaho could address its application requirements. DivX chose to purchase Pentaho Professional Edition for the production rollout for its enhanced deployment capabilities, IP indemnification, and Platinum Support.
