availability of a new Pentaho plug-in bringing interactive analytics to

Enabling Pentaho Analyzer on the iPad
The following describes how to install the Pentaho iPad Plug-in for Apple iPad. The extension enables Pentaho Analyzer to run on the iPad with touch-enabled interaction, and works with Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition 3.6.

Prerequisites:
- Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition 3.6 GA (Download Now)
- Valid Pentaho Analysis Enterprise Edition or BI Suite Enterprise Edition subscription keys
(or Free 30-day Trial keys)
- Apple iPad
Installation Instructions:
- Step 1: Download Pentaho iPad Plug-in
- Step 2: Unzip contents to /pentaho-solutions/system (Merge with existing /analyzer directory.)*
- Step 3: Make sure the BI server's base-url is set to the actual server name (instead of 'localhost').
You can do this either in the Pentaho Enterprise Console or directly in the BI Server web.xml file.
- Step 4: Start (or restart) the Pentaho BI server.
- Step 5: On the iPad, open Safari and go to http://<server>:<port>/pentaho/content/analyzer/selectSchema.
