Position:
French Territory Manager

Overview:
French Territory Manager with at least 2-3 years experience in Business Intelligence to manage a territory and develop business in mainly France, Spain and Portugal. The Territory Manager needs to identify customer goals, objectives, problems, needs, and position Pentaho solution offering (technology and business).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify customer goals, objectives, problems, needs, and position Pentaho solution offering (technology and business)
  • Qualify issues surrounding: budget, competition, technology evaluation process and criteria, decision-makers, key decision criteria, and decision process; timeframe associated with all issues
  • Work with customer to identify an evaluation plan if necessary - a mutually agreed upon sequence of events, that when satisfied, result in a Pentaho sales transaction, and further transition into "post-sales".
  • Penetrate & Expand: when working into an account, identify other opportunities in the account
  • Up-sell & Cross-sell: grow deals via more modules; training & consulting; multi-year deals, etc.
  • Learn and use Pentaho sales tools
  • Learn and be competent on the Pentaho corporate presentation & product demonstration
Education / Experience and Skills:
  • Fluently speak French and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with (international) sales and business development ideally min. 2 years experience in Business Intelligence
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple simultaneous short-term and long-term opportunities
  • 4-year University degree or equivalent
