Doug Moran

Doug has over 15 years of professional experience in software architecture, development and systems consulting, and is responsible for communications and facilitation of the Pentaho Community. Prior to Pentaho, Doug co-founded Keyola, which was eventually acquired by Lawson Software, where he served as a Principal Engineer. Prior to Lawson, Doug co-founded AppSource Corporation (acquired by Arbor Software which later merged into Hyperion Solutions).

In his early career, Doug helped develop the world's first object-oriented BI platform. Doug also worked on the space shuttle program at Kennedy Space Center, as the lead engineer for guidance, navigation and flight controls systems.
